The contest is organized to show the best and most interesting pieces of art among the unique books of art and graphics, the most relevant in the modern publishing world, and to draw the attention of the general book community to the names and works of excellent artists who form the book concepts of the present. The organizers hope that the competition will be able to attract the attention of not only the professional, but also the museum community, and will help preserve the book culture in Russian museum collections.
A separate application is submitted for each book.
The selection of illustrations for the Long list of the contest is carried out by an authoritative jury - representatives of the expert community and museum specialists.
The works selected by the organizing committee of the contest for the Long list are presented at a special exposition of non/fiction in Gostiny Dvor.
